- Information collected
- Enquiry forms. The wedding and event enquiry forms collect the details needed to prepare a quote. This typically includes your name, email address, phone number, event date, venue, and any notes you choose to add about your day.
- These forms are provided by Google Forms and are embedded on this site. Responses are stored in Google's systems and are also sent to my email address. Google's handling of that data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
- Direct contact. If you email or phone, I keep that correspondence in order to respond and to manage your booking.
- Website usage. Like most websites, this site records basic technical information about visits, including approximate location, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the site you arrived from. This is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
- How your information is used
- Your information is used to:
- - Respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote
- - Arrange, confirm and deliver a booking
- - Keep records of past bookings and correspondence
- - Understand how the website is being used, so it can be improved
- Your information is not sold, rented or traded. It is not shared with other wedding or event suppliers unless you ask me to, for example when coordinating with a venue or celebrant for your booking.
- Cookies
- Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. This site uses two categories.
- Essential cookies are required for the site to function correctly, including remembering your cookie preferences. These cannot be turned off without affecting how the site works.
- Analytics cookies collect information in aggregate about how the site is used, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors arrive. This includes Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement, which help me understand whether my advertising is reaching the right people. These cookies may record that you visited this site after clicking an advertisement.
- You can accept or reject analytics cookies using the cookie settings panel on this website, where it is displayed, or through your browser settings as described below.
- Managing cookies
- If the cookie settings panel is displayed on this website, you can use it to accept or reject analytics cookies at any time.
- You can also control cookies through your browser. Most browsers let you view the cookies stored on your device, delete them individually or all at once, and block them from particular sites or entirely. The current instructions for each major browser are here:

- Third party services
- This site relies on a small number of external services:
- Siteplus, which hosts the website
- Google Forms, which handles enquiry submissions
- Google Analytics and Google Ads, which measure website traffic and advertising performance
- Email and calendar services, used to correspond with you and manage bookings
- Each of these providers handles data under its own privacy terms. Some may store data outside Australia.
- How long information is kept
- Enquiry and booking information is kept for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet record keeping and tax obligations, which in Australia is generally five years from the end of the relevant financial year. Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for a reasonable period in case you get back in touch, and are then deleted.
- Accessing, correcting or deleting your information
- You can ask what information I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email tom@tomboothmusic.com.au and I will respond within a reasonable time. Some information may need to be retained where there is a legal obligation to keep it.
- Links to other websites
- This site links to external sites including social media, streaming platforms and venue websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies and I am not responsible for their practices.
- Complaints
- If you have a concern about how your information has been handled, please contact me directly at tom@tomboothmusic.com.au so it can be resolved.
- If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
